Managing a Mobile Device

This page allows you to manage your mobile banking device. If you have not yet registered your mobile device, the Register Mobile Device form appears. If your mobile device is registered, the Edit Mobile Device page appears.

Registering a Mobile Device

  1. Enter a mobile device name.

  2. Select the country where the mobile device is registered.

  3. Select the carrier of the mobile device.

  4. Enter the number of the mobile device.

  5. Click Send Token. A generated token is sent to the mobile device; this token is required to complete the registration process.

  6. Enter the token received by the mobile device and click Validate Token.

  7. On the confirmation page, click Done.

Editing a Mobile Device

Modify mobile device settings and alert preferences.

Note: Each customer can be assigned only one mobile device. To change mobile devices, delete the one that is currently assigned.

Editing mobile device information

  1. (Optional) Modify the device name.

  2. (Optional) Select Browser Msgs Enabled. If the device's carrier supports WAP Push, this option is, by default, selected. If the customer's specific device does not support WAP Push, unselect the option.

  3. (Optional) In Authentication Secret Text, enter text (typically provided by the customer) that the customer can easily remember. If SMS transactions require authentication, a message that automatically starts a Web browser may be sent to the customer's device. The message includes the text you provide here so the customer can verify that the message originated from the bank.

  4. Click Save.

 

Editing alert preferences

  1. Select Enable Text Messaging Alerts.

  2. (Optional) Select "Disable alerts for calendar period" and enter the date range for which you want to disable alerts.

  3. (Optional) Select "Disable alerts every day" and enter the daily time range during which you want to disable alerts.

  4. (Optional) Select "Disable alerts during weekends."

    Note:
    Alerts generated during disabled periods are sent to the mobile device when the time period ends.

  5. Click Save.

 

To delete the mobile device, click Delete. On the verification page, review the device's information and click Done.

To send a test message to your mobile device, click Send Test Message. On the confirmation page, click Done.
